Côtière Alpine est le nom du troupeau que nous construisons depuis 2008 à St-Anicet, Québec.La ferme sur laquelle nous demeurons est à moins de 250 mètres du Fleuve St-Laurent devenant le Lac St-François à cet endroit. Nous y élevons une dizaine de chèvres laitières de race pure Alpine ayant comme objectif qu'elles soient aussi performantes dans les arènes d'expositions que dans le salon de traite. Les chèvres à la base du troupeau proviennent de Trilyte Alpine, propriété de Susan Frazer au Manitoba, ainsi que de Ferme Côté S.E.N.C., située à Lefebvre, Québec et sont issues des meilleurs troupeaux en Amérique du Nord dont Qu'appelle, Sunshine, Roeburn et Willow Run. Tous nos animaux sont exempts d'arthrite encéphalite caprine (AEC) afin de les voir produire le plus longtemps possible.
 
Vous pouvez vous informer des accouplements planifiés ou effectués cet automne en visitant la section Saillies. Puisque nous voulons garder notre troupeau à une certaine taille, nous avons aussi quelques chèvres fraîches à vendre.Vous trouverez ces animaux dans la section À vendre. Nous espérons que vous apprécierez la visite virtuelle de notre troupeau.                                                        Welcome on Côtière Alpine's web site

Côtière Alpine is the name of the herd we are building since 2008 in St-Anicet, Québec. The farm we are living on is less than 250 meters far from the St.Lawrence River becoming St. Francis Lake at this point. We raise about 10 purebred alpine goats trying to get them as performant in the show ring as in the milk parlor.Our fondation does are coming from Trilyte Alpine owned by Susan Frazer from Manitoba, and from Ferme Côté S.E.N.C. based at Lefebvre, Québec. Those animals are descending from the best herd in North America like Qu'appelle, Sunshine, Roeburn and Willow Run. Our whole herd is caprine arthritis encephalitis (CAE) free to see them perform as long as possible.
